Outdoor Hostel Adventures: Itinerary

The following itinerary is based on a program length of 1.5 days + 1 night. Shorter and longer trips are also available.

Day One 

9:45 - 10:00 a.m.
Arrive at the hostel and settle in, stowing gear and food.

10:00 - 10:15  a.m.
Introductions; discuss guidelines and expectations; break into groups with Naturalists and hit the trail!

10:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Hikes through coastal scrub, ocean beaches, grasslands, and chaparral, along with interactive activities and games. Lunch on the trail at noon.

4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Return to the hostel and meet the hostel staff.

5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Dinner preparation and free activity time.

6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Dinner.

7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Nocturnal learning activities and night hike.

Day Two

7:45 - 9:30 a.m.
Get ready for the day, prepare and eat breakfast, complete simple morning chores.

9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Hikes through coastal scrub, ocean beaches, grasslands, and chaparral, along with interactive activities and games. Lunch on the trail at noon.

12:30 - 1:00 p.m.
