Urban Trekking in SacramentoThe Urban Trekking program offers groups an experiential educational journey to California's state capital. Your group will have the unique experience of train travel, as well as interacting with people of different cultures. All groups will also have the opportunity to stay at the historic Llewllyn Williams Mansion, one of the most architecturally significant residential structures in Sacramento.

  • Ride the train through beautiful Northern California.
  • Tour North America's most popular railroad museum, the California State Railroad Museum
  • Tour the home of California's legislative, executive, and judicial branches, the Capitol building.
  • Enjoy Old Sacramento, a 28-acre National Historic Landmark District and State Historic Park along the Sacramento River.
  • Tour the Crocker Art Museum founded in 1885. This is the longest continuously operating art museum in the West.
  • Stay overnight in a beautifully restored Gold Rush mansion, Hostelling International - Sacramento.
  • Become an open minded, caring world citizen who respects other peoples and cultures as you travel through both your own community and the wider world.
