Hawk Talk and Banding Demonstration

Learn about the dramatic fall raptor migration over the Marin Headlands, and see a hawk up-close as you hear about the programs of the Golden Gate Raptor Observatory (GGRO).

Come hear an hour-long talk about hawk migration, identification, and monitoring, illustrated by photos and other aids.

Then, at 1 p.m., a newly banded hawk is brought up to the stage, and released back into the wild as the audiences watches.
