The Marin Headlands Hostel is set in a U.S. National Park less than 5 miles north of San Francisco, just across the Golden Gate Bridge. Housed in the historic homes of former Fort Barry officers, the hostel provides immediate access to a wealth of outdoor activities, including miles of hiking and biking trails, beaches, and dense forest.

Kitchen and diningThe hostel has two self-service kitchens where guests can prepare their own meals. Both kitchens are fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, coffeemaker, and ample refrigerator/freezer space. Pots and pans, dishes, and utensils are also provided.
Guests also have access to two indoor dining rooms and a shaded picnic area with tables and barbecue.
