Quote from Fodor's The Marin Headlands Hostel offers accommodations in two large historic homes, built in 1907 as officers’ quarters in what was then Fort Barry.

Guests may choose to stay in shared, gender-specific or co-ed dorms, or in one of the 7 rooms reserved for private accommodations (single, double, or family occupancy).

Most dorm rooms have 8 beds per room. Blankets and sheets are provided free of charge; towels are available for a nominal fee.

  • Adult: from $24
  • Child: $12
    Ages 12 and under, traveling with a parent or legal guardian. Child rate does not apply to groups of 8 or more.

Private rooms accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children. Blankets and sheets are provided free of charge; towels are available for a nominal fee.
