Quote from Fodor's The Marin Headlands Hostel offers accommodations in two large historic homes, built in 1907 as officers’ quarters in what was then Fort Barry.

Guests may choose to stay in shared, gender-specific or co-ed dorms, or in one of the 7 rooms reserved for private accommodations (single, double, or family occupancy).

Shared dorm rooms

Dorm rooms average 4 to 9 beds per room.

Adult: $21
Child (age 4-12) with guardian: $10
Please note: Child rate does not apply to groups of 10 or more.

Private rooms

Private rooms accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children.
