San Francisco hostels host traditional Thanksgiving dinner, Nov. 22

Thanksgiving is a holiday that celebrates the bounty of the harvest and the warmth of the community -- be it a community of family, friends, neighbors, or fellow travelers! This all-American holiday is all about gathering together, sharing a meal, and giving thanks.
This year, all three San Francisco hostels are banding together to host a Thanksgiving dinner for guests and staff. Join us on Thursday, November 22 for a home-cooked meal and a special holiday movie.
Anthony Jones, activities coordinator for HI-San Francisco City Center, will roll up his sleeves and cook a traditional Turkey Day feast. In addition to an oven-roasted bird, we'll serve up veggie dishes (potatoes, green beans, and salad) as well as delicious desserts.
Few occasions bring people together like a celebratory meal, and this meal offers a special opportunity to experience an American holiday while enjoying a true American pastime -- eating! So come hungry, gather around our table, and join our Thanksgiving celebration.
This event is only open to guests of our three San Francisco hostels.
