With both overnight accommodations and meeting/event space available, we welcome all types of groups to our coastside retreat -- friends and family as well as professional, social, and religious organizations for retreats, workshops, reunions, and other events.
Any 10 or more people visiting the hostel together are considered a group. We can accommodate groups of up to 30 people. (For a daytime-only function, maximum group size is 40.)
In addition to accommodations, the hostel common rooms, group dining hall, and picnic areas are available for meeting/event space. Groups can prepare meals or cater using our self-serve kitchens. Some equipment is available, including a digital projector, projection screen, television, and DVD player. Since our hostel is divided into 4 houses, many groups choose to rent an entire house (sleeping 10-15 people) for exclusive use.
For outdoor education, the Pigeon Point Environmental Education Program (PPEEP) offered by Exploring New Horizons is a unique three-day program focused on marine biology, redwood ecology, botany, zoology, geology, and coastal cultural history. PPEEP also promotes the growth of cooperative, trusting, and supportive relationships between students, classmates, parents, and teachers.

Full-House Rental (Exclusive Use)
Each of the hostel's four houses can accommodate 10-15 people overnight, and groups can reserve an entire house for exclusive use.

The hostel is available for wedding ceremonies from 11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. only.
$200 per hour, two-hour minimum. Additional State Parks fees and permits are required.
