The Pigeon Point Lighthouse Hostel welcomes walk-in guests whenever possible but advance reservations are recommended, especially for travelers who want private accommodations or who have special needs.

The Pigeon Point Lighthouse Hostel is open 24 hours to individual guests who have checked in. There is an additional day-use fee for groups.
Reservation and reception hours are 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.
The hostel is open daily year-round.
We are located on California State Parks land. Day visitors are welcome to explore the grounds from 7:30 a.m. to sunset.
Check-in hours are 3:30 - 10:30 p.m.
Check-out hours are 7:30 - 11 a.m.
Adults must provide a valid government-issued picture identification card (passport, driver's license, or state or military ID card) to stay at the Pigeon Point Lighthouse Hostel.
We accept cash, travelers checks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and JCB.
A credit card is required to make a reservation, but during the check-in process you may choose to pay for your accommodations with cash or travelers checks instead.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or change your reservation, at least 48 hours
advance notice is required. If a cancellation is made without 48 hours
notice, or if you do not arrive on the reserved date, your credit card
will be charged for one night’s accommodation per person, and any
additional nights reserved will be cancelled. (For groups, a different cancellation policy applies.)
