"It's a Green Day" Expo

Our county is, at last, getting the Green concept! This sustainability expo, the first of its kind locally, will feature free workshops, demonstrations, green businesses, household and food products for display and sale.

Witness the cutting edge of rural, working class sustainability, which grows differently up here. If you're used to a metropolitan or suburban take on "Going Green," it's worth the short (20-minute) trip from the hostel to Crescent City, and see how rural communities are forming their own ecological consciousness. Pretty cool stuff.
