Reservations
The Redwood National Park Hostel welcomes walk-in guests at any time of the year but advance reservations are recommended, especially for travelers who want private accommodations or who have special needs.

Please also note that HI-USA requires a 5% deposit and a $3 booking fee for online reservations.

- Your date(s) of stay
- Full name of each guest
- Gender of each guest (for dorm bed reservations only)

Hours
The Redwood National Park Hostel is open 24 hours to guests who have checked in.
Reservation and reception hours are 8 - 11 a.m. and 4 - 10 p.m.
Check-in/Check-out
Check-in hours are 4 - 10 p.m.
Check-out is by 11 a.m.
Adults must provide a valid government-issued picture identification
card (passport, driver's license, or state or military ID card) to stay
at the Redwood National Park Hostel.
Winter schedule
During the winter season (November - February), the hostel is closed to overnight visitors on most weeknights, but is open every Friday and Saturday night, as well as on holidays including Thanksgiving week, Christmas/New Year's week, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Valentine's Day, and Presidents Day.
During the rest of the year (March - October), the hostel is open daily.
Groups of 10 or more may arrange for weekday use at any time of the year.
Payment
We accept cash, travelers checks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and JCB.
A credit card is required to make a reservation, but during the check-in process you may choose to pay for your accommodations with cash or travelers checks instead.
Cancellation policy
If you need to cancel or change your reservation, at least 48 hours advance notice is required. If a cancellation is made without 48 hours notice, or if you do not arrive on the reserved date, your credit card will be charged for one night’s accommodation per person, and any additional nights reserved will be cancelled. (For groups, a different cancellation policy applies.)
