Set in a National Park wilderness, the Point Reyes Hostel provides the majestic beauty and recreational opportunities of the Point Reyes National Seashore, right at your doorstep.

The hostel is divided into three buildings: the historic Ranch House and Bunkhouse which offer dorm bed accommodations, and the new "green" facility (built to LEED Silver standards) which offers four private family rooms.

Guest rooms

Accommodations are in shared, gender-specific or co-ed dorm rooms, or in private rooms. Bathrooms are shared.

Guests may choose to stay in:

Shared dorm room (8 to 10 beds per room)
Private family room (for up to 5 people)

Common areas

The hostel offers several areas for guests to relax and enjoy, including:

Three comfortable lounges with beautiful views
Patio with picnic tables and barbecue
Outdoor deck and covered porch with seating
A National Park outside the front door!

Kitchen and dining

The hostel has two self-service kitchens and dining rooms where guests can prepare their own meals. The kitchens are fully equipped with stoves, ovens, microwave, coffeemaker, and ample refrigerator/freezer space. Pots and pans, dishes, and utensils are also provided.

When the weather is nice, guests can also take advantage of the outdoor patio with picnic tables and barbecue.
