The Sacramento Hostel is housed in a beautiful 19th century mansion, one of the few surviving Gold Rush-era buildings on Sacramento’s Merchant Row. A restored grand entry, vaulted ceilings, wood paneling, chandeliers, stained glass skylight, and fireplaces with original hand-painted tiles all add to the historic appeal of this uniquely refined hostel.

Kitchen and diningThe hostel has a spacious self-service kitchen where guests can prepare their own meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, coffeemaker, and ample refrigerator/freezer space. Pots and pans, dishes, and utensils are also provided.
For dining, guests may opt for the light-filled dining room (complete with chandelier!), or the outdoor patio with fountain, umbrella tables, and barbecue.
