The Sacramento Hostel offers accommodations in the 1885 Llewellyn Williams Mansion, on a tree-lined street in the heart of downtown Sacramento.

Dorm Beds

Our shared dorm-style rooms sleep 8-10 people per room. Both co-ed and gender-specific rooms are available.

Rates include daily continental breakfast and all applicable taxes and reservation fees. HI membership is required and can be purchased online or at the front desk. Annual ($28) and daily ($3) memberships are available; see Membership for details.

Private Rooms

Each of our 9 private rooms has its own unique character and configuration. Only one of our rooms (The El Dorado) has a private bathroom; all other bathrooms are shared.

Families with Children

While most families choose to stay in a private room (see above), for those who opt to stay in a shared dorm room, we offer half-off the dorm bed rate for children ages 12 and under who are traveling with their parent or legal guardian. To receive the family dorm bed rate, please book by phone at 1 (916) 443-1691. Please note that the family dorm bed rate does not apply to groups of 8 or more.
